I know, I'm dragging for this post since forever. I want to be one of those blogger who gives too much details yet still make everyone interested and wondered. So bare with me while in the process of trying to be one. Me saying I love travelling is such a cliche but can't help it, it's one true reason which is keeping me going and strong.
Before I finished writing about last trip to Chaung Thar, Here i'm again at Chaung Thar Beach for my mom & dad silver anniversary. And no doubt rainy season hasn't over yet. I didn't know rainy season here can be that long and annoying to me who is a pure pluviophile even. 2 times of 2 days trip to Chaung thar save it all, at least. I gonna combine both trip photos, so you can hope for longest post I've ever done.
It was a beautiful day at the beach in a way every summer should be spent. The weather get hotter, drinks get cooler, wind gets stronger, nights get longer and music get louder: signs to show off all my shorts, skorts and colorful crop tops and long maxi dresses. Both trip was relaxing to the core since all I did was sleeping, reading and eating with the sight of blue windy beach. Foods are cheap and awesome for seafood lover like me. Everything about beach can make me fall in love hard and keep making me going back to there. So my ideal vocation be like laying under palm trees with a book with my favorite sun glass on and eating whole day. I'll pause a bit to confess I do hate getting tanned tho, since I recently inspired by the fact that tanned skin is sexy, I'm care free this time. One layer of sun block cream and I'm good to go.
Okey enough with how much I love beach common talks, I've been to all three main beaches in Myanmar and other 3 famous beaches: Phuket, Bali and Bintam, I have to say seafood from Chaung Thar is the most awesome one and cheapest. Lobsters for 4 ppl cost like 20 bucks, how one can not fall in love? Which seafood you like? Just name it and a local people will make your mouth watery just by smelling it. I was literally living in paradise by just eating non stop different seafood. It's so good to wake up with a list of things you want to eat for the rest of the day and go to bed with satisfied stomach.
So after pointing out good, now it's time for criticism. The beach is over crowded and so many things going on at the beach till middle of the night, firework, karaoke sessions, bonfire, people playing football, volleyball and playing loud music. First day, I enjoyed every bits of it and next day I'm starting to annoy since perk of all family vocation is you get to sleep a lot and environment isn't helping so if you are not a food person and looking for quiet vocation, choose somewhere else like Nga Pa Li.
Yes, my phototaking game so strong and my phone end up with over 200 photos to edit. My initial plan was to do different posts for different outfits but boredom caught me off guard and here I'm combining not just one but two trips photos so bare with me. I won't elaborate much on my beach fashion sense. I'll leave it for you to judge. But I want some appreciation since my location picking skill has a lot better and during both trips, I walk all the way to both ends and took photos so enjoy and hope you like it.
With so much loves,
Astraea
