"Red Alert"

The first thing pops up in my mind just before I wrote this week post is that in this non-related case, I was kind of wondering me becoming a morning person and having not much fun anymore in enjoying Sunday morning staying late in bed and having brunch. I woke up this morning 8am and couldn't sleep back up to my accustomed Sunday brunch o’clock. One thing led to another and I kinda miss my last week brunch time and wanna just write it off so my chaung thar beach post have to wait but believe me, I have tons of good photos with my sister’s dresses waiting to be revealed.

Headline highlight fashion of this week goes to traditional dresses to bring out Burmese side of me. My baby sister is working on it for next week opening event of Vestige. I couldn't be more happier and proud to present finally, Myanmar finest premium souvenir’s flagship store in Yangon. (Spoiler alert – more to come on next week post)

So who doesn't like brunch? I don’t know about others but my definition of brunch is having breakfast and lunch together just to save sometime to get more sleep so that I could sleep up to dinner time without disturbing meal in between. Trust me, I thought of many ways to write without sounding like I’m a big sleeper. I want my blog to be informative with lesser personal talks, so getting to the point that Acacia Tea Saloon, AGAIN, has a beautiful brunch set up for a huge lover of it like me with I call it, “not-cheap-but-worth-it-to-experience” price range of (US 10 to 15). With no apt explanation, I always wanted to try their French room which the way they call it for dining on the floor and getting cozy with lots of small pillows with a plate full of a portion of each from European breakfast menu. Like I have mentioned many times before, their customer service is splendid which I’ll mention many more times after too. Since I came from service industry, I rated a particular place on three main things first, customer service, decoration and food and they passed on every entry levels. And I believe I shouldn't bother you with more of this rating thingy. So far, I guess it helps you to try it out to some extend already.

Move on to my red on red combo with a red stud bag which I got it cheap from SG trip, I paired for the brunching.  I’m kind of haunting branded inspired premium quality bags lately, before you start “I thought so, how could she afford a branded” judgmental conversation, let me tell you I don’t really care but I think it would be polite to just mention which is real and which is not next time not to make you guys waste time wondering. Anywho, I knew it was wrong to wear too much exposing back and short skort on cooling rainy morning, let me just put it this way, who cares, it was matching perfectly. I don’t know did any of you notice my long fake clipped-on blond hair. It helped generously from my “short hair now I care” crisis with just 3000 kyats and I’m so thanking everyone who thought I had an extensive hair extension which worth over $200 (God bless them :P).

A little update of myself, I now almost learnt how to drive with both pro that I can’t wait to drive around by myself and con of knowing this Yangon traffic will never get better. And someone asked me “why you make your private life public? Shouldn’t you just stay low profile?” No. My life’s an open book and I’m comfortable sharing with everyone who might interested even some not so great and sparkle parts. I mean who is perfect anyway?

Happy Tuesday!
Ciao for now,
With loves,
Astraea
